Minister
Kathy Itzin
Rev. Kathy loves nurturing and encouraging people’s growth in spirituality, kindness, and justice. She was the pastor at Parkway UCC before our Parkway/Robbinsdale consolidation and has served our congregation since 2010. She and her wife have raised four children, and they enjoy several grandchildren. Kathy has served on the UCC Committee on Ministry for 12 years, been an advisor minister for people in the process of ordination and supervised pastoral interns. She was Vice-Chair of Faith Formation Leadership as well as the Interfaith Children’s Advocacy Network for many years. She has a passion for GLBT+, disability and children’s rights, sanctuary, and affordable housing. Kathy came to the UCC after many years of working in faith formation and pastoral care in the Catholic Church.
Justice Minister
Laura Cannata
Pastor Laura is a disabilty justice minister. She helps churches be safe and welcoming to people with disabilities and mental health issues. Her duties include leading a special committee, book studies, worship services and more.
Associate Minister of Liturgical Art
Dawn Carlson Conn
Dawn, a long-time member, was commissioned as a Minister of Liturgical Art in 2013. She enjoys
creating “visual theology” with the congregation, especially during the Lenten season. Inspired by the arts at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, she received her Masters of Divinity degree in 1997.

Ministry Intern
Katie Gant
Katie Gant is a third year Master of Divinity student at Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul and a Member in Discernment for the United Church of Christ Minnesota Conference. Prior to seminary, Katie graduated from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor's Degree in Religion and Ancient Studies. Katie loves spending time in nature, traveling, creative writing, and making music.

Gene Montanez
As a volunteer and licensed boiler operator, I handle the heavy lifting and physical maintenance that keep things running smoothly—both in terms of inspections and fixing any issues that come up. When it comes to boilers, I’m the one making sure they stay hot without getting too hot. I'm always on hand to ensure everything stays in top working condition.
Minister Music
Art Clyde
As Director of Music I direct the choir and coordinate many musical activities, including weekly and seasonal worship planning and finding new ways of music expression in worship, I have spent most of my life in the United Church of Christ and as a professional musician and as staff person and RPUCC member I work to incorporate our values into all that we do and sing. I am committed to working toward diverse participation, diverse styles in worship, and inclusiveness.

Dianne Star
I format and print the bulletins for worship services. The slides that show on the monitor in the Gathering Area are mostly created or edited by me. There's other miscellaneous stuff I do. You know the phrase - miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Maintenance
Ray Caron
I joined RPUCC in 2019 and soon after joined with Vicki Nicole in custodial care of the building. I concentrate my efforts on cleaning the floors and shampooing the carpets.

Communications Coordinator

I handle a lot of the communications pieces of the church (crazy I know) such as the e-blast, event coordination, website, socials, printing of materials, etc. If you have a question regarding the church or scheduling of events i'm probably the one to get into contact with.
Faith Community Nurse
Carol Anderson
I am a retired Hospice RN. My role at church is as a Faith Community Nurse. I am available to visit members, answer health questions and pray with members as they face changing health issues.
Hospitality
Kathy Jo
A lifetime member here I specialize in Hospitality. To me that is the church's job-to be welcoming. I co-chair the Hospitality Ministry (& Funerals) and am also on the Growth & Vitality Committee. Keeping the church fresh and vibrant. Church feeds the body and the soul.
